A small house turned into a 33 congregate unit building called, The Roost. A new co-living development with a mission to provide housing and services that can help promote a lively arts community in Central Seattle.
The Roost includes three common kitchens and lounge areas to encourage chance interactions and help build community among the residents.
Built Green Five Star certification with an expected energy usage of about 1/3 of a conventional apartment building. A rooftop solar array will provide 85-90% of the domestic hot water for the project.
